Area of trapezium = 1/2x(30+40)x12

= 1/2x70x12

= 420 cm²

Area of Triangle = 1/2x10x12

= 60 cm²

Area of shaded Region = Area of Trapezium - Area of Triangle

= (420-60) cm²

= 360 cm²
