AnSwer -:

___________________________________

Area of whole figure -: 31.625 cm²

___________________________

Explanation-:

Area of circle -:

"A =  π r² "

A = Area

 π = 22/7 or 3.14

r = radius

Area of rectangle -:

"A= l x b"

A = Area

l= length

b = breadth

______________________________

Given ,

Radius of a circle -: 2.5 cm

length of rectangle-: 4 cm

breadth of rectangle-: 3 cm

To find ,

Area of whole figure [Area of circle +Area of rectangle]

______________________________

Solution-:

☆ Area of circle -:

"A =  π r² "

"A =  π r² "A = Area = ??

 π = 22/7 or 3.14

 π = 22/7 or 3.14r = radius = 2.5 cm

22/7 x 2.5 x 2.5

22/7 x 6.25

3.14 x 6.25

= 19.625 cm²

Now,

Area of circle-: 19.625 cm²

☆ Area of rectangle -:

☆ Area of rectangle -:"A= l x b"

☆ Area of rectangle -:"A= l x b"A = Area= ??

l= length = 4 cm

b = breadth = 3 cm

3 x 4

12 cm²

Now ,

Area of rectangle-: 12 cm²

Now ,

Area of whole figure-:

Area of circle + Area of rectangle

Area of circle = 19.625 cm²

Area if Rectangle= 12 cm²

Now ,

19.625 + 12

31.625 cm²

Hence,

Area of whole figure -: 31.625 cm²
