Area of semicircle = πr²/2

Here, r= 7cm.

So, area of semicircle = (49π/2)cm²

Area of given triangle

= (1/2)× base × height

= (1/2) × 14cm × 7cm = 49cm²

Area of Shaded Region

= Area of Semicircle - Area of Triangle

(From the diagram above)

= (49π/2) - 49 = 49(π/2 - 1)cm²
