========================
Given
======
Here diagonal of the rectangle = diameter of the circle.

=> AB = 12 cm

=> BC = 5 cm

---------------------------------------
To find :-
========
=> Area of shaded region

= Area of Circle - Area of rectangle

________________________

=> Diagonal = √( AB² + BC²)

= √(12² + 5²) = √(144+25)

= √169 = 13 cm

=> Diameter of circle = Diagonal = 13 cm

=> Area of Circle =πR² = (π D²) ÷ 4

= π × 169 ÷ 4 = 132.7322 cm²

=>. Area of Rectangle = 12×5 = 60 cm²

---------------------------------------------------
So the required area of shaded region

= Area of circle - are of rectangle

= 132.732 - 60 = 72.732 cm² __(answer)
