Area of triangle = 1( base) (height) /2

Here forADE base= 9cm height = 10cm and

for BCE base =5cm and height= 10cm

Area of ADE =45cm^2 and Area of BCE= 25cm^2

Area of shaded region=45cm^2 + 25cm^2

=70cm^2
