 Given sides of rectangle is l=8 cm,b=6 cm

From the figure 

Diameter of circle is equal to Diagonal of rectangle

⟹radius=2162+82=5 cm

Area of circle is πr2=π(5)2=25π=78.5cm2

Area of rectangle is l×b=6×8=48 cm2

Area of shaded portion = Area of Circle − Area of Rectangle

                                         =78.5−48=30.5 cm2
