so, area of shaded triangle is 1/2×base×height

so the base of shaded triangle=20cm

height of the shaded triangle=5cm

area of shaded triangle=1/2×20×5

area of shaded triangle=10×5

area of shaded triangle=50cm^2

Therefore, area of shaded triangle=50cm^2
