▶Question : find the area of square if the measure of its diagonal is 12 CM ?
➡Method of Solution:
▶Given: Diagonal of Square = 12 cm
↩Diagonal of Square = 12 cm↩
↪√2a = 12
↪ a = 12/√2
Therefore, Side of Square is (12/√2) cm
Now, According to the Question's Statement!
➡Statement: Find the area of square ?
↪Area of Square = (Side)²
↪Area of Square = (12/√2)²
↪Area of Square = 144/2
↪Area of Square = 72 cm²
▶Hence, Required Area of Square is (72 cm²)▶

square have all side are equal.
then apply Pythagoras Theron -
H^2 =B^2 + P^2
12^2 = x^2 + x^2
144/2 = x^2
√72 = x
6√2 = x
=> area of square = (6√2)^2
= 36×2
= 72
