We know that,

$ \rm{Area~of~Square = Side \times Side}$

Also,

$8 \frac{3}{8} = \frac{8 \times 8 + 3}{8} = \frac{67}{8}$

• Area :-

$\rm{area = \frac{67}{8} \times \frac{67}{8} }$

$= \frac{67\times 67}{8\times 8}$

$= \frac{4489}{64}$

• Simplification :-

$= \rm \frac{4489}{64}=70.140625 \: {cm}^{2}$
