We have given the length , breadth and height of the four walls of the room are 9m,6m & 4m respectively.
To find
We have to its area and hence the cost of white washing the walls @₹ 12 per sq.m
Since, all dimensions of four walls are given so,we can easily find its area by using the formula :
Area of four walls = 2(l+b)×h
Where ,l is the length ,b is the breadth and h is the height.
Area of four walls = 2(9+6)×4
Area of four walls = 2(15)×4
Area of four walls = 30×4=120m²
Now, cost of white washing the m²= ₹12
If we Multiply the cost with the given area we can find out the cost of white washing the walls
➙₹12×120
➙₹ 1440
Hence,cost of white washing the four walls is ₹1440
