(a) A rectangle whose length is 12 cm and breadth is 4 m.

--------

Given :

  • The length of rectangle = 12 cm
  • The breadth of rectangle = 4 m

To find :

  • the area

Solution :

  • 4 m to cm :

1 m = 100 cm

4 m = 100 × 4

= 400 cm

Area of Rectangle = length × breadth

= 12 × 400

= 4800 cm²

Therefore, the area of the rectangle is 4800 cm².

(b) A circle whose radius is 7 m.

--------

Given :

  • Radius of Circle = 7 m

To find :

  • the area

Solution :

Area of Circle = πr²

= 22/7 × 7²

= 22/7 × 49

= 22 × 49/7

= 1078/7

= 154 cm²

Therefore, the Area of circle is 154 cm².

(c) A triangle whose base is 6 m and height is 8 m.

--------

Given :

  • Base of triangle = 6 m
  • Height of triangle = 8 m

To find :

  • the area

Solution :

Area of Triangle = 1/2 × b × h

= 1/2 × 6 × 8

= 1/2 × 48

= 1 × 48/2

= 48/2

= 24 cm²

Therefore, the Area of triangle is 24 cm².
