Area of irregular polygons are found out by finding out the area regular figures in them

so;

Given:

WU=10cm

XU=15cm

UV=17cm

YV=25cm

VZ= 12cm

Soln:-

(Area of ∆WXU)+(Area of trap•XYUV)+(Area of ∆YVZ)

= (1/2×10×15)+(1/2×(15+25)×17)+(1/2×25×12)

=75+340+150

=565cm².

Hence,Solved.
