let the length = 2x

lateral surface area = 120cm
2h (l+b) = 120cm
ATQ
2×4 (2x+x) = 120
8 (3x) = 120
(3x) = 120/8
x = 15/3
x = 5
area of the base of a box = l×b = 2x.x
=3x = 3×5 = 15
