r is radius of circle and a is area of circle

we know that

$area \: of \: circle = \pi \times {r}^{2}$

As diameter is given then radius will be

$r = \frac{d}{2} = 2.6cm$

hence put

$\pi = 3.14$

$area \: of \: circle = \pi \times {r}^{2} \\ = \pi \times {2.6}^{2} \\ = 21.23 {cm}^{2}$
