find the area of the circle given that: (a) radiu-20cm (b) diameter- 42​

  1. Radius = 20 cm

Area = πr²

=> 22/7 × 20 ×20

=> 22/7 × 400

=> 1257.4 cm²

2. Diameter = 42 cm

Area = πr²

Radius = d/2

=> 42/2

=> 21

Area = 22/7 × 21 × 21

=> 22 × 3 × 21

=> 66 × 21

=> 1386 cm²
