  \huge \sf  \purple{\underline{ \fbox{ \orange{ \: Solution \:  \:  : }}}}

Given ,

Diameter of circle = 10 cm

So , radius of circle = 10/2 = 5 cm

We know that , the area of circle is given by

 \mathtt{ \large \fbox{Area  \: of  \: circle = \pi {(r )}^{2}} }

Substitute the values , we obtain

 \sf \hookrightarrow Area = 3.14 \times  {(5)}^{2}  \\  \\ \sf \hookrightarrow Area =  \frac{314}{\cancel{100} } \times  \cancel{25} \\  \\  \sf \hookrightarrow Area =   \frac{314}{4}  \\  \\ \hookrightarrow \sf Area = 78.5 \:  \:  {cm}^{2}

Hence , the area of circle is 78.5 cm²
