We know,

radius of circle =

 \frac{dimeter}{2} =  \frac{5}{2} = 2.5cm

and,area of circle = \pi {r}^{2} \\ = > \pi {2.5}^{2} \\ = > 3.14 \times 6.25 \\ = > 19.625 {cm}^{2}
