area of the field = Area of  Trapezium ABCH  + Area of triangle DCH  + Area of triangle DEI   + Area of trapezium EFGI  + Area of Triangle FGA

Area of  Trapezium ABCH = (1/2) (AB + CH) * AH =(1/2) (30 + 40) * (AG + GH)

= (1/2)(70) * (80 + 20)  = 3500 m²

Area of triangle DCH = (1/2) * DH * CH  = (1/2) * (DI + IH) * 40

= (1/2) (80 + 60) * 40  = 2800 m²

Area of triangle DEI =(1/2) * DI * EI  

= (1/2) * 80 * 60  =  2400 m²

Area of trapezium EFGI = (1/2) (EI + FG) * GI  = (1/2) (60 + 50) ( GH + HI)

= (1/2) (110) ( 20 + 60) = (1/2) (110) (80) = 4400 m²

Area of Triangle FGA = (1/2) * FG * GA  

= (1/2) * 50 * 80  = 2000 m²

area of the field =   3500 + 2800 + 2400 + 4400 + 2000  =   15100 m²
