As it is a semicircle area will be half of radius

Area of circle pi(r)^2

Area of semicircle pi(r)^2/2

Given diameter 14 cm

Radius = 14/2 =7 cm

Area = (pi × {7}^2)/2

=(22/7×49)/2

22×49/2×7

= 77 cm^2
