= 14.13 cm^2

Area of triangle = (1/2) × base × height

= (1/2) × 6 cm × 9 cm

= (54/2) cm^2

= 27 cm^2

Area if figure formed = (14.13 + 27) cm^2

= 41. 13 cm^2

Area of figure = 41.13 cm^2
