Answer:

for triangular area 1

a=5cm ,b=5cm ,c=1cm

therefore s=a+b+c/2=11/2=5.5cm

area 1√5.5(5.5-5)(5.5-5)(5.5-1)

=√5.5(.5)(.5)(4.5)

=(.5)√,(5.5)(4.5)

=(.5)(.5)(3)√11

=0.75√11=0.75(approx)

=2.5cm^2

Area 2=6.5*1=6.5cm^2

for area 3

area 3=a +b+c

=1/2*(√3/2*1/2)+(√3/2*1)+1/2*(√3/2*1/2)

=√3/2[1/2*1/2+1+1/2*1/2]

=√3/2[1/4+1+1/4]

=√3/2[6/4]=3/4*√3

=1.3cm^2 (approx)

Area 4= 6*1.5/2=4.5cm^2

Area 5= 6*1.5/2= 4.5cm^2

therefore ,total area of paper used =area 1+area2+area 3+area 4+area 5= 2.5+6.5+1.3+4.5+4.5(cm^2)

=19.3cm^2 ans.
