Answer:

We need to first divide the structure into two shapes,the area of the first triangle will be 1/2*base*height=1/2*4*3=6 cm sq.

the remaining side is hypotenuse which can be found by 4^{2} +3^{2}

which will come 5cm

the area of a rectangle is p*b, that is 5*6 = 30 cm sq.

when we add the two, we get 36 cm sq as the area
