The Area of Rectangle ABCJ = Length × breadth

= 18 cm²
The area of Rectangle CDEF = 3 cm × 1cm
= 3cm²
The area of Rectangle GHIJ = 3cm×1cm
= 3cm²
Add all the areas
18cm²+3cm²+3cm² = 24cm²
Hence , the area of the figure is 24cm²
