SOLUTION :-
✭ Area ∆ BAC,
➳ BE + ED = 30 cm.
➳ BE + 12 cm = 30 cm.
➳ BE = 30 cm - 12 cm.
➳ BE = 18 cm.
Now in ∆ BAC we have,
➵ Altitude , BE = 18 cm.
➵ Base , AC = 20 cm.
Now , as we know that the area of triangle is given by,
✮ Area = 1/2 × base × altitude.
➵ Area = 1/2 × 18 × 20.
➵ Area = 9 × 20
➵ Area = 180 cm².
Hence the area of ∆ BAC is 180 cm².

Here in ∆ DAC we have,
