Answer :

We know In regular hexagon all diagonal bisect each other at one point .And divide it in 6 equal area  triangle  And if we draw a perpendicular from that point to any side , that bisect it's side .

SO, we can say

AB  =  BC  =  CD  =  DE  =  EF  =  FA  =  6 cm
AD  =  BE  =  CF  =  10 cm
And
OA =  OB  =  OC  =  OD  =  OE  =  OF  =  5 cm
And
AM  =  MB  =  3 cm

SO, In ∆ MOB , we get

OB2 =  OM2 +  MB2

52 =  OM2 + 32

OM2 =  25  -9

OM2 =  16

OM  =  4 cm

And we know Area of triangle   = 12×Base × Height , SO

Area of ∆ AOB  =  12×6 × 4  =  12 cm2

So,

Area of regular hexagon ABCDEF  =  6 ( 12 ) =  72 cm2                                      ( Ans )
