First we will find area of abcd
It is l×b
=18×10 cm
=180cm square
Now area of triangle afe
=1/2 ×base×height
=1/2 ×10×6
=1/2×60 = 30 cm square
Now area of triangle bec
=1/2 × base ×height
=1/2 × 8 × 10
= 1/2 × 80 = 40cm square
Now area of shaded region
= area of abcd- afe+bec
= 180 -30+40
= 180-70 = 110
Hope it helps u

It is very simple but you have to understand it very nicely now listen first you take out the whole area of the figure than subtract it from the area of two triangle

first take out the area of the figure = 10×18
= 180
now take out the value of first triangle=1/2 ×8×10=40
now take out the value of second triangle=1/2×10×6=30
now the area of the shaded region =
180- (40 + 30 )
180-70 =110 cm

(hint : the area of a triangle is =1/2 ×base×hight

Aerrika: Thanks for marking it brainliest
