The area of a triangle = 1/2 ( base × height)

BC = 4cm{ base }

AD = 3 cm { altitude }

Area = 1/2 ×(4×3)

= 1/2 ×12

= 6 cm ² .

Thus, The area of the triangle is 6 cm ² .
