Find the missing height of the triangle:
a² + b² = c²
a² + 4² = 5²
a² = 5² - 4²
a² = 9
a = √9
a = 3 cm
⇒ height of the triangle = 3cm
Find the area of 2 triangle:
Area of triangle = 1/2 x base x height
Area of triangle = 1/2 x 3 x 4 = 6 cm²
Area of 2 triangles = 6 x 2 = 12 cm²
Find the area of rectangle:
Area = Length x Breadth
Area = 6 x (4 + 3) = 6 x 7
Area = 42 cm²
Find the area of the semi-circle:
Area = 1/2 πr²
Area = 1/2 π (6 ÷ 2)²
Area = 14.14 cm²
Find the total area:
Area - 14.14 + 42 + 12 = 68.14 cm²
Answer: 68.14 cm²
