As We can see that if we join the lines then it will be a Rectangle. In the screen there are 3 Rectangles. So, Now We have to add this 3 areas of rectangle to get the area of the given figure.

1st Rectangle (In the Top)

A₁ = Length × Breadth = (5 × 4) sq. cm

= 20 sq. cm

2nd Rectangle (In the Middle)

A₂ = Length × Breadth = (10 × 4) sq. cm

= 40 sq. cm

3rd Rectangle (In the Bottom)

A₃ = Length × Breadth = (15 × 4) sq. cm

= 60 sq. cm

∴ Area of the given figure = A₁ + A₂ + A₃

= 20 + 40 + 60

= 120 sq. cm

∴ Area of the given figure is 120 sq. cm.
