Find the area of the given figure ABCDEFGH as per dimensions given in it.​

first we have to find perpendicular of triangle

${p}^{2} + {b}^{2} = {h}^{2} \\ {p }^{2} + {4}^{2} = {5 }^{2} \\ {p}^{2} = 25 - 16 \\ {p}^{2} = 9 \\ p = \sqrt{9} \\ p = 3$

Now, height of triangle=3cm

base=4cm

length of rectangle=8cm

breadth of rectangle=7cm

Total area of figure= area of rectangle+ 2×area of triangle

=8×7+(2×4×3)/2

=56+12

=68cm^2
