  • we know that area of rectangle = length * breadth

so

area of rectangle 1= 45*20= 900cm^2

area of rectangle 2= 60*45 =27 00cm^2

area of rectangle 3= 20*60= 1200cm^2

total area = 900+2700+1200=4800cm^2

  • area of trapezium 1 = area of rectangle + area of triangle = 900cm^2 + 60*45/2 =900cm^2+135 0cm^2= 2250cm^2

Area of second trapezium = area of rectangle + area of triangle = 1200cm^2 + 45*60/2

= 1200cm^2 +13 50cm^2 = 1350cm^2

total area = 2250cm^2 +1200cm^2+ 1350cm^2 =48 00cm^2
