Find the area of the given figure by splitting it into squares

Area= 54cm^{2}

Explanation:

One square ⇒ 3cm in length and 3cm in breadth ⇒ Area of this square= 9cm²

If you divide the figure in to such 3×3cm squares, there will be 6 such squares...

So we will multiply the area of one such square with the number of such squares that can be fitted in the shape ⇒ 9×6= 54cm²
