first we will find the area of right angle triangle

hypotenuse ² = 5² + 12²

= 25 + 144

= √169 = 13cm²

so now we will find the area of the other figure by heron's formula

s = a + b + c /2

13 + 9 + 6 /2

= 28/2 = 14cm

(s-a) = 14 - 13 = 1 cm

(s-b) = 14 - 9 = 5 cm

(s-c). = 14 - 6 = 8 cm

area of triangle = √s(s-a) (s-b) (s-c)

=. √14 × 1 × 5× 8

= √2 × 7× 1× 5× 2× 2× 2

= 2 × 2 √7×5

= 4 √35cm²

so area of figure = 13 + 4√35 cm²
