Area Of Hexagon,

 =  area \: of \: CDEF \:  +  \: area \: of \: ABCF \\  =  \frac{1}{2}  \times h \times (x + y) +  \frac{1}{2}  \times h \times (x + y) \\  =  \frac{1}{2}  \times AP \times (ED+ CF) +  \frac{1}{2}   \times AP  \times  (CF + AB) \\  =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 5.2 \times (6 + 12) +  \frac{1}{2}  \times 5.2 \times (12 + 6)cm \\  =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 5.2 \times 18 +  \frac{1}{2}  \times 5.2 \times 18cm \\  = 14.2 + 14.2cm {}^{2}  \\  = 23.2cm {}^{2}

Hence, the area of hexagon is 23.2 cm^2.
