- Find area.
- Here in the picture there are boxes that we have to find area with
10 half boxes
10 full boxes
- 10 BOXES ARE HALF
- SO IT WILL BE 10 ONLY

I have some queries about this question,
- What is the scale of the background graph?
- What are the units of the scale, whether its in cm itself or any other units for example meter(m) or something else.If there is some other units we need to convert it into cm
Although we can only find its "Approximate area".
Suppose its a unit graph with units as cm(1cm).
Hence we get squares with "unit area".(1 square will contain area of 1cm²)
If we carefully observe the diagram(figure) we observe that:
There are;
- Observe the attachment.
- 8 complete(full) squares(red) i.e squares with area 1cm²(we may also consider some with area near to a full square).
- And there are 8 half squares(blue) i.e squares with area 1/2cm²(Similarly in this case too, we consider squares wity area near to a half square).
- And there are 8 quarter squares(green) i.e squares with area 1/4cm²(same for these case as well, consider squares with area near to quater square).
- In total there are exactly 24 squares which covers the moon.
Similarly,
if the graph was in meters(m)
we would get same 14m² but we have to convert it into cm².
HOPE THIS HELPS!!
