Answer :

  • Area of triangle is 20cm²

Given :

  • b = 5cm
  • h = 8cm

To find :

  • Area of triangle

Solution :

  • Base is 5cm
  • Height is 8cm

As we know that :

  • Area of triangle = 1/2 × b × h

Where,

  • b is base
  • h is height

➺ Area of triangle = 1/2 × b × h

➺ Area of triangle = 1/2 × 5 × 8

➺ Area of triangle = 1 × 5 × 4

➺ Area of triangle = 20cm²

Hence , Area of triangle is 20cm²
