HEY THERE!!

Note; If the circle is divided into two segments, the bigger portion is called the major segment and the smaller portion is called the minor segment.

Question:-

Find the area of the minor segment of a circle of radius 28cm,where the angle of corresponding sector is 45°

Method of Solution!

Given;

Area of the minor segment of a circle of radius 28cm.

the angle of corresponding sector is 45°

Using Formula of Minor Section!

Minor Section => ∅/360° × πr²

=> 45/360° × 3.14 × (28)²

=> 0.125 ×3.41 × 784

=> 334.18 cm²

Hence, Minor Section = 334.18 cm²

HEY MATE HERE IS YOUR ANSWER

 \rule {155}{3}

Given :-

Radius of circle = 28 cm

Angle corresponding sector = 45 °

____________________________

In this question we use formula of minor section

Minor section =

 \huge = > \frac{o}{360} \times \pi \: {r}^{2}

 \huge = > \frac{45}{360} \times \frac{22}{7} \times 28 \times 28

 \huge = > 334.18 \: c {m}^{2}
Therefore,

Minor section = 334.18 cm^2

 \rule {150} {2}

Hope it will help you
