Answer :

  • Area of parallelogram is 60cm².

Given :

  • Base is 15cm
  • Corresponding attitude is 4cm

To find :

  • Area of the parallelogram

Solution :

To find the area of the parallelogram we have to use the formula of area of the parallelogram then we get answer

Given,

  • Base of parallelogram is 15cm
  • Altitude of parallelogram is 4cm

We know that

  • Area of parallelogram = b × h

Where,

  • b is base of parallelogram
  • h is height of parallelogram (Altitude)

Substituting the value :

↝ Area of parallelogram = base × height

↝ Area of parallelogram = 15 × 4

↝Area of parallelogram = 60cm²

Hence,

  • Area of parallelogram is 60cm².

Given :-

➜ The base and corresponding attitude are 15cm and 4cm

To Find :-

➜ What is the area of the parallelogram ?

Formula :-

Area of parallelogram = l × b

Where,

  • l = length
  • b = breadth

Solution :-

Given that,

➞ The base and corresponding attitude are 15cm and 4cm

According to the question by using formula we get,

➡ Area = length × breadth

➡ Area = 15 × 4

Area = 60

Hence,

The area of the parallelogram is 60cm²
