Length of the park = 45 m

Breadth of the park = 30 m

Area of the park = l × b

= 45 × 30

= 1350 m².

Length of the whole park = 45 + 2.5 + 2.5

= 50 m

Breadth of the whole park = 30 + 2.5 + 2.5

= 35 m

Area of the whole park = l × b

= 50 × 35

= 1750 m².

Area of the path = 1750 - 1350

= 400 m².
