Find the area of the polygon PQRST, where PS = 7cm, PW = 5cm,PV = 4cm, PU = 2cm. Also, QU, RW and VT are perpendiculars to diagonal PS such that QU=1.5cm, RW=2cm and VT=2.5cm.​

ar(∆) = ½ base.height__(F1)

hypotenuse² = base² + adjacent ²__(F2)(Pythagoras theorem)

from F2 : QW = 3.35 cm

: QR = 2.68 cm

from F1 : ar(∆PQU) = 1.5 cm²

: ar (∆PVT) = 5 cm²

: ar (∆RWS) = 2 cm²

: ar(∆SVT) = 3.75 cm²

: ar(∆QUW) = 2.25 cm²

: ar(∆QRW) = 2.68 cm²

area of polygon = 1.5+5+2+3.75+2.25+2.68

= 17.18 cm²

17.18 is required ans....
