Answer = 214.276 sq.cm

total area = area of the hexagon + area of the rectangle

area of the hexagon =  ((3*root3)/2) *side^2

                                   = 166.276cm^2

area of the rectangle = 4x12 =  48cm^2

total area = 166.276+48

Hemanta555: 3×root3/2×side=166.267 how??
rudraboinamanoj: okay, let me split it into steps.
rudraboinamanoj: root 3 = 1.732
rudraboinamanoj: 3*root3 = 5.196
rudraboinamanoj: 5.196 / 2 = 2.598
rudraboinamanoj: 2.5980 x side^2 = 166.276
rudraboinamanoj: typo in the answer , I have missed the sq
Hemanta555: hmm
