Answer:

in triangle ADC

DE is height/ altitude= 15cm

AC is base= 44cm

therefore by 1/2×base × height

1/2×44×15

=330cm^2

similarly in triangle ABC

DF is height/ altitude= 20cm

AC is base= 44cm

therefore by 1/2×base × height

1/2×44×20

=440cm^2

NOW TRIANGLE ABC+TRIANGLE ADC= QUADRILATERAL ABCD

therefore areaADC+areaABC=areaABCD

330+440=770cm^2
