Solution :

Dimensions of the Quadrilateral :

diagonal ( QR ) = 5.5 cm

Let Corresponding heights H , h.

H = 2.5 cm ,

h = 1.5 cm

Area of the ABCD = [( H + h )×QR ]/2

= [ ( 2.5 + 1.5 ) × 5.5 ]/2

= ( 4 × 5.5 ]/2

= 2 × 5.5

= 11 cm²

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of quadrilateral = area of triangle RSQ + area of triangle PQR

area of triangle RSQ = 2.5*5.5/2= 6.875

Area of triangle PQR = 1.5*5.5/2 = 4.125

Area of quadrilateral is 6.875+4.125 = 11
