In ∆QRS :

base = 5.5cm

height = 2.5cm

area = 1/2×base×height

=1/2×5.5×2.5

=13.75/2

=6.875cm²

In ∆PQS

base=5.5cm

height=1.5cm

area=1/2×base×height

=1/2×5.5×1.5

=8.25/2

=4.125cm²

total area = area of ∆QRS + area of ∆PQS

=6.875+4.125

=11cm2
