area of triangle ADC,
1/2×b×h
=1/2×48×20
=24×20
=480cm2
area of triangle ABC,
1/2×48×10
=24×10
=240cm2
therefore the area of the quadrilateral
=480 + 240
=720cm2
1/2×b×h
=1/2×48×20
=24×20
=480cm2
area of triangle ABC,
1/2×48×10
=24×10
=240cm2
therefore the area of the quadrilateral
=480 + 240
=720cm2

Hlo......
Here is ur answer.......
Area of quadrilateral is the sum of areas as triangles ADC and triangle ABC.
For triangle ABC, DE is height and BC is base.
So, area of triangle ABC =1/2 x base x height.
1/2 x 48 x 20
960/2=480
Similarly, for triangle ABC, AC is base and BF is height.
Area of triangle ABC=1/2 x 48 x 10=480/2=240.
Area of quadrilateral= area of triangle ADC + Area of triangle ABC=240+480=720
Hope it helps.......plz mark as branliest....:)
