we know that , area of a rectangle = length × breadth

=> area of rectangle = 12.5 cm × 900 cm

( since , 1 meter = 100 cm
=> 9 meter = 900 cm)

=> area of rectangle = 11250 cm²

or we can write it as , 1.125 m²

hope this helps
