Perimeter of rectangle = 52

Length of rectangle = ( 2x + 3 )

Width of rectangle = ( 3x - 1 )

We know that, Perimeter of rectangle =

2( L + B )

= 2[( 2x + 3) + ( 3x - 1] = 52

= 2( 5x + 2) = 52

= 10x + 4 = 52

= 10x = 52 - 4

= x = 48 / 10 = 4. 8So, Length = ( 2x + 3 ) = 2 × 4.8 + 3 = 1

12.6

Breadth = ( 3x - 1 ) = 3 × 4.8 - 1 = 13.4

So, area of rectangle =

Length × Breadth

= 12.6 × 13.4 = 168.8
