Answer:

mark me as brainlist and thank me

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of the rectangle = 221 cm²

Given:

Length of the rectangle = 17 cm

Breadth of the rectangle = 13 cm

To find:

Area of the rectangle.

Solution:

Length (l) = 17 cm

Breadth (b) = 13 cm

We know that,

Area of the rectangle,

= length × breadth

=( 17×13) cm²

= 221 cm²

Therefore, the area of the rectangle is 221 cm².

Required answer

GivEn:

  • Length of rectangle = 17cm
  • Breadth of rectangle = 13cm

To finD :

  • Area of rectangle from the given measures

Solution :

We have given the length and breadth of rectangle are 17cm and 13cm respectively. To find the area of this rectangle we need a formula to find area of rectangle, which formula is as :-

Formula using :-

To find area of rectangle, we will use this formula :-

  • Area of rectangle = B

In which :

  • L = Length of rectangle,
  • B = breadth of rectangle

Now,

We can find our area of rectangle by substituting values in above formula. let's do it :-

Substituting values in given formula :

Area of rectangle = L × B

[L = 17cm and B = 13cm •••••• ( Given ) ]

=> Area of rectangle = 17cm × 13cm

=> Area of rectangle = 221cm²

Hence,

Area of rectangle is 221cm²

Our final answer :-

Area of this given rectangle is 221cm².

Some Useful formulas of mensuration :-

  • Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth
  • Perimeter of rectangle = 2( Length+ breadth)
  • Diagonal of rectangle = √length²+breadth²
  • Area of square = side²
  • Perimeter of square = 4×side
  • Area of Circle = πr² •••••{ r = radius}
