find the area of the rectangle whose breadth is one third of its length and whose perimeter is same as that of the perimeter of the square of area of 256 sq cm
write answer is 192 sq cm but I want Answer with proper explanation.​

Answer:

The area of square = 256 sq.

Formula used:

The perimeter of square = 4 × a

Calculation:

We know that area of square = a2 , where a = side of square

So, a2 = 256 sq.

⇒ a = √256

⇒ a = 16

Now,

Perimeter of square = 4 × 16 = 64

∴The perimeter of that square is 64 .
