Given:

length is 8 cm

l=8 cm

Breadth is 3cm

b=3 cm

To find the area of rectangle

We know that the formula of area of rectangle

Area of rectangle = l × b

Area of rectangle = 8 × 3

Area of rectangle = 24 cm²

Hence the value of area of the rectangle is 24 cm²

  • As per the data given in the question, we have to find the area of a rectangle.

       Given data- Length(l)=8cm.

                           Breadth(b)=3cm.

       To find :- area of the rectangle(A)=?

       Solution:-

  • Let the length and breadth are l and b respectively.
  • As we know, the area of the rectangle is length\times breadth.
  • So, we will apply the formula,.we get,

        Area=length\times breadth\\Area=8\times 3\\Area=24cm^{2}.

       Hence, area of the rectangle will be 24cm^{2}.
